Citizens Environmental Council

The mission of the Citizens Environmental Council, CEC, is to champion regional sustainability through education, advocacy for environmental and climate policy, and empowerment of young environmental leaders. CEC activities include hosting a free yearly speaker series on an array of environmental topics, our student fim festival held every year in April, and on ongoing collaboration with the San Mateo County Offices of Education and Sustainability in offering the Youth Climate Ambassadors (YCA) Leadership Program, which helps aspiring high school environmental advocates gain skills and knowledge.
