Clara White Mission

For more than a century, the Clara White Mission have helped Jacksonville’s homeless veterans and low-income gain a new perspective on life.The Clara White Mission was founded by humanitarian, Dr. Eartha M. M. White in 1904. She was a Jacksonville icon, a. Black woman who was an advocate for Veterans, orphans and the homeless population in Jacksonville.The Clara White Mission has evolved into a full service social welfare institution under the leadership of Ju'Coby Pittman. We are focsd on feeding, housing and training people so that they can have a second chance at life. We believe food for today, skills for life.
