Community Kitchen Pittsburgh

Community Kitchen Pittsburgh uses food as the foundation to change lives and strengthen communities by providing culinary training and opening career pathways to individuals who experience barriers to employment.We host various events in the community -- from pop-up dinners to sausage workshops and larger events such as our Signature Guest Chef Dinner Series, which gives our culinary students the opportunity to gain valuable experience working alongside Pittsburgh chefs who have been invited to take over our kitchen.The proceeds from all of our events roll back into our nonprofit's culinary training, job placement, and hunger relief programming, allowing us to provide our workforce development program at no cost to participants as well as provide nutritious meals to community members who may be facing food insecurity.
