Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA)

CSMA is the Bay Area’s preeminent music and art education center where people of all ages and abilities can discover, develop and nurture their creativity. CSMA is a mission-driven music and arts education organization in the Bay Area. With an emphasis on equity, we give our local community members access to excellence in the arts, regardless of age, skill, background or financial means. We offer financial aid for all programs.Our comprehensive music program provides introductory classes, private lessons, music theory, ensembles and more to students from early childhood to adulthood. At CSMA's Music School, you'll find:Classes and lessons taught by a faculty of internationally recognized professional musiciansClassical, jazz, and contemporary stylesInstruction in music theory, instrumental technique and speicial topics.
