Connecting Champions is a nonprofit that asks kids and young adults with cancer, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” and connects them with a career mentor who helps them reach their aspirations.Our evidence-based, outcomes-driven approach has helped hundreds of young people across the country better survive the cancer journey, psychosocially and vocationally. We give them the resources they need to envision life beyond the disease by achieving their career aspirations or simply feeling like a kid again.Through our in-person and virtual programs, we’ve paired 3- to 26-year-olds (during treatment and in survivorship) with mentors from 60+ career paths such as fashion, zoology, NASA engineering, and even ghost hunting.
