Conscious Connected Touch

I'm Samii, a certified professional cuddler and owner of Conscious Connected Touch.I'm keen to bring awareness, education as well as training and support around conscious touch and cuddling as healing/therapeutic modalities.Touch deprivation is a huge issue not just here in the UK but globally and it's affects on our health and well being are well researched and documented. Nurturing touch is a fundamental human requirement, right up there with food and water.I aim to destigmatise the shame and guilt around needing/wanting touch from others and also to re-educate people on the fact that we can have touch without it being or becoming sexual. Often it's the human connection we're craving, not the sex, but society doesn't teach us how to have healthy, platonic touch outside of romantic/sexual relationships.As part of holding 1-2-1 cuddle therapy sessions and cuddle puddles, education and practices around consent and boundaries are always part of my work. We can't learn how to touch in a healthy, nurturing way without learning exactly what consent is and isn't, how to get better at saying and respecting "No" and learning what our boundaries are. That way we can respect them ourselves and be able to voice them so they can also be respected by others.
