Consumer Protection

Consumer Protection aims to create a fair trading environment by educating consumers, regulating the contractual relationship between consumers and businesses and improving business conduct in the marketplace.  We licence a number of occupations and regulate and facilitate business structures, through co-operatives and limited partnership legislation and not-for-profits organisations, through associations and charities legislation.  The Division is accommodated in premises in Perth, Cannington and the six regional centres of Albany, Broome, Bunbury, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and Karratha..
