Council on Greenways and Trails

The non-profit corporation 'Council on Greenways and Trails' advocates for enhancements to outdoor recreation and multi-use trails in Clarion, Crawford, and Venango Counties in Pennsylvania. Its members are municipalities, trail owners/managers, non-profits, businesses, and families involved in developing, maintaining, and promoting natural resources and recreation outdoors. Its two major annual events are the 'Nature Art Showcase and Sale' each February in Franklin, PA and the Greenways Awards Ceremony held in either June or September at locations throughout the service area; both events are free to attendees and participating artists.
