Craig Bay Choristers

The Craig Bay Choristers are a community choir in the multi-strata community of Craig Bay, in Parksville, BC. We perform at Christmas and in the spring, as well as singing for residents in care facilities. We organize an annual Seaside Performance Series that began in 2021, with the aims of bringing quality performers to the Oceanside area, supporting the choir's activities financially, and supporting the Oceanside Hospice Society, to whom we make regular donations from ticket sales.Purposes of the choir as stated in our articles of incorporation are:a) to provide the opportunity for members of the Craig Bay community to experience the joy of choral singing;b) to foster goodwill and community spirit through musical performances to various audiences in and outside of Craig Bay including those in extended care;c) to work toward excellence in training and performance through a diversified repertoire encompassing contemporary, folk, sacred, popular and traditional music;d) to make charitable contributions to worthy community causes when possible.
