Discover the work of Cyrus Dallin (1861-1944), the celebrated, Utah-born sculptor, educator, and Indigenous rights activist who lived and worked in Arlington, Massachusetts for over forty years. Best known for the iconic "Appeal to the Great Spirit" and "Paul Revere Monument" in Boston, Dallin’s many public sculptures bring beauty and a unique historical perspective to shared spaces across the nation.In the intimate setting of the Cyrus Dallin Art Museum, visitors experience over ninety artworks spanning the sculptor’s sixty-year career. These include portrayals of Indigenous peoples, Anglo-European figures, family members and friends; casts and prototypes of public monuments and memorials; and coins, medals, and paintings.
