About

Daniel Kneblewski is a professional civil engineer with tutoring and teaching experience since 2010. He currently is a hobby beekeeper and growing his 26-acre hobby farm in Waterdown, Ontario. Daniel has had an interest in beekeeping since 2012, studied the biology of bees in 2018 and became an urban beekeeper in 2019. With guidance and mentorship from a master beekeeper, Daniel started with one hive in his Oakville backyard. Over the past seven years, he has doubled the size of his bee yards multiple times, caught swarms, bred bees, navigated major losses, managed new pests and diseases, and performed rescue calls. He now manages 15-25 hives on a yearly basis, teaches classes and sell bees to his students. He is dedicated to helping new beekeepers gain the skills and confidence so they succeed.Daniel has a strong passion for beekeeping and believes anyone can take on this wonderful hobby. Daniel has been training and teaching new beekeepers since 2021 Generations Marketplace in Simcoe, ON.Daniel is now expanding his classes to Waterdown, ON to serve the west GTA and be closer to his farm through Eventbrite!
