Daniela Torres

Daniela is an Ecuadorian artist based in Berlin, challenging gender normativity in society through photography and ceramics. She founded MŌ Gallery in 2017 and has curated many independent and group shows since.Over the years, Daniela has become a strong advocate for gender equality, and her work has come to reflect that through its reversal of gender roles and a newfound sense of irony towards her experiences.She celebrates femininity, nudity, and vulnerability in her multidisciplinary artwork.Since 2021 she’s been part of the Kunst100 artists and works as a representative at MACK Books in Berlin. Daniela runs her art studio where she produces, displays, sells her artwork and host workshops in Alt-Moabit.
