Daughters Journey to Freedom

MISSION - Daughters Journey to Freedom is an organization focused on uplifting the community by empowering women spiritually, financially, emotionally, mentally and physically.Our annual goal is to host community baby showers and maternal health fairs that provide a holistic maternal, neonatal, infant, and postpartum care program that speaks to the physical and emotional needs of the most vulnerable medically underserved populations (MUPs). Each baby shower supplies up to 100 moms with diapers, car seats, nursing supplies (manual and automated pumps and accessories, nipple shields, nursing pads), postpartum supplies, formula, baby clothes, teething supplies, first aid kits, bath supplies, bottles, bottle sterilizers, breastmilk storage supplies, toys, diaper bags, and more. Additionally, we hold at least 1 women's wellness event including presentations on reproductive health, financial wellness, mental health support, and maternal wellness.
