Debra Harris

Hi, I'm Debra Harris, Event Coordinator for Direct Action for Rights & Equality (DARE), a nonprofit organization. I plan and coordinate fundraisers for the organization, whose mission is to organize low-income families from communities of color for social, economic, and political justice. We accomplish this through base building, direct action campaigns, leadership development, and movement building. Some of the fundraisers I've helped organize are the Dare's Springtime Gala, the Dare's Annual Court Debt Fund Fundraiser, and the Soul Food Dinner.DARE's mission is is to organize low- income families of communities of color for social, economic and political justice. We do this through, Base Building, Direct Action Organizing Campaigns, Leadership Development, and Movement Building.
