Delaware Chinese American Association (DCAA)

Delaware Chinese American Association (DCAA) was founded in 1997 to serve the Chinese American community in Delaware.  DCAA is a non-profit, non-sectarian, and non-political community-based organization with a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt charitable status, and it is an affiliate agency of the United Way of Delaware (Agency Code: 9386).DCAA's mission is to promote the appreciation and integration of Chinese cultures in the diversed community at large by organizing cultural events and activities throughout the year.   DCAA operates the First State Chunhui Chinese School that provides Chinese language education to over 300 students from pre-K to 10th grade on weekends; and provides free English classes to seniors in the community.DCAA organizes Delaware Chinese New Year Celebration Gala each year for over 20 years to celebrate with traditional Chinese Vocal, Chinese Traditional Perorming Arts, Chinese Opera, Variety Shows, Chinese Food, and Chinese Artifact Exhibits. The Admission is Free to public.  The Gala will be on February 9th at 1:30pm in the Auditorium of John Dickinson High School.
