The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Department of Nevada is a non-profit, congressionally chartered veterans service organization that serves to empower and advocate for disabled veterans in the state of Nevada. As a state chapter of the national Disabled American Veterans organization, which was founded in 1920, the DAV Department of Nevada has been dedicated to providing support, resources, and representation to the state's disabled veterans.With a mission to "make a positive difference in the lives of those who served our country and their families," the DAV Department of Nevada offers a wide range of services and benefits to its members, including advocacy on Capitol Hill, claim representation for disability compensation claims, transportation to VA medical appointments, as well as assistance with accessing healthcare, employment, and other veteran benefits.The DAV Department of Nevada is comprised of dedicated veterans and their families who share a common goal of providing assistance, support, and camaraderie to their fellow disabled veterans.
