Domestic Violence Ambassadors (DVA)

In 2018-2020, I began to see how my life experiences have molded me into an influential person. After suffering in silence and in pain from the domestic violence I experienced, I realized that my experiences allow me to empathize with others who may still be trying to find safety, overcome addiction, have been victims to sexual, emotional, mental, and physical abuse and those who have experienced domestic violence. I am a humanitarian. Once I was able to safely remove myself from the abuse, my journey to healing had begun by way of Domestic Violence Ambassadors (DVA). DVA is addressing multiple levels of domestic violence. The mission is to make sure that no one suffers alone. Today, I am sober, safe, and working diligently towards a better life. I know from personal experience where the gaps are. Starting with the first call to the police to making it out of the abuse alive. Unfortunately, it took me getting into trouble with the law to truly get the help I needed. My energy and passion are from a place of feeling disposable and abandoned by the people who should have been there to protect me. DVA's goal is to see that as many people as possible never experience what I have!“Together We Never Suffer Alone”.
