Dr. Karen Overall, AVC, UPEI

Dr. Overall oversees the behavioural medicine program at Atlantic Veterinary College, UPEI, where she is a Professor. She has given many lectures for the Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre (SJDAWC) webinar series. For the first time we are offering an intensive course as part of our mission to help more veterinary professionals gain skills in veterinary behavioural medicine. Dr. Overall has given hundreds of lectures and short courses at vet schools and at meetings around the world, and has regularly offered these types of in-depth, intensive courses. With the advent of the behavioural medicine program at AVC, we felt it was time to add this popular, much needed and expanded course to the AVC program and to offer it in a beautiful, inviting environment that will encourage colleagiality.
