Founder’s NoteI created Enlightened Equity because I saw the gap between intention and implementation—between the equity organizations speak about and the systems they’re expected to run. I’ve spent nearly two decades navigating finance, public education, and nonprofit leadership. At every stage, I saw the same truth: when systems are not designed for equity, people get left behind.This work is personal. It’s professional. It’s rooted in the communities I come from and the futures I want to help build.
