FVAF stands for Forest Voluntary Action Forum. We offer support to local citizens, community groups and activities to do the things that matter most to them. This includes the following:support and development advicetraininginformationnetworking meetingsfacilitating representationvolunteer recruitmentvolunteer placement and support​We also run many projects with and for the local community, such as the Forest of Dean Youth Association, Holiday Activity Campaigns, The Forest Youth Music Network, The GEM Project, The Forest Compass Directory, Walking with Wheels and many more.
