Friends of Killens Pond State Park

The Friends of Killens Pond is a non-profit group whose mission is to enjoy and protect the land within Killens Pond State Park and its management areas to actively participate in the Park’s preservation and improvement.The Friends of Killens Pond group helps fund the summer concerts, children’s summer camp scholarships, stipends for Title I school field trips, and other needs for the Park. We also work on the trails twice a month and maintain the gardens throughout the Park.Activities for children and adults include Scarecrow Making, Paint by Day, and our Amateur Photo Contest.
