The Stannary BarsWhether you seek a quiet drink with a friend or like to revel in large music gigs, the Stannary, with a new Café Bar and Sustainability Café, has something for everyone.For big, themed gigs, DJ sets and concerts, we open up the whole of the Stannary and this includes our upper Stannary Bar and the lower Stannary. The Stannary with its large capacity as a live music entertainment venue, has previously hosted the likes of Radio One DJ Annie Mac, Wretch 32 and Scratch Perverts.From an Open Mic Night, Murder Mystery, Silent Disco, to a grand Welcome Ball, welcome events are open to all students regardless of year of study. During term-time, regular weekly entertainment is available in the new Café Bar.The Stannary Cafe BarOn the ground floor of the Stannary extension, the new, fully stocked Café Bar, which includes Sky and BT Sports and a stage for live music, is set to be your new thriving social hub.
