Gamma Iota Sigma Chapter, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority

Gamma Iota Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.has been serving the community of Fort Pierce, FL since April 1961, supporting our community’s youth with programs such as our Swim 1922 initiative that teaches youngsters to swim and be safe in the water, and our Youth Symposiums where we partner with the Boys and Girls Clubs of St Lucie County to foster safety and all around well being for our young people. Our Rhoer Club, open to young ladies between the ages of 12 and 18, learn about their heritage and work with their SGRho mentors on community service projects. Rhoers learn how to set goals to further their education and to develop their leadership skills. All while having FUN!Assisting our community in education, women’s wellness, youth development and mental health awareness – Just a sampling of our commitment to Greater Service, Greater Progress.
