Global Short Film Awards,established in 2015, recognizes excellence in short films under 15 minutes long in a variety of subjects. The annual black-tie awards gala is held in Cannes, France (to coincide with the renowned Cannes Film Festival), and features awards presentations to winning films and other honorees, luxury fashion shows, entertainment and more. The founder and director is Andres Aquino, who is also the founder and producer of the prestigious Couture Fashion Week New York, as well as an award-winning fashion designer, event producer and entrepreneur.
