Greater Salt Lake Alumnae, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, INC

The chapter serves the greater Salt Lake area of Utah. Our endeavors address the sorority’s Five-Point Program Thrust:Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.The chapter’s programs include our annual Dovie Miles Goodwin Scholarship awarded to local high school students, Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy, the Delta GEMS Program (Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully), annual holiday drives working with the Utah Food Bank and adopting a family for the Sub-for-Santa program. We continue to develop and expand our relationship with the Future Stars Day Care, Marshall White Community Center, the NAACP and other agencies/programs throughout the Greater Salt Lake area.
