GULP

Born in 2019, GULP is about giving artists a platform to experiment with that champions the weird, offbeat and those who may struggle to be published elsewhere, in the form of Music, Film, Talk and Art. In return, it shares it’s knowledge of the creative realm by allowing people's works to be encountered and absorbed alongside bigger names and like-minded artists. Uninspired by the plethora of clean, minimalist glossy mags flooding cafes, bars and book shops, we aim to offer the reader an alternative experience of printed media. GULP has begun as a quarterly broadsheet magazine hosting a riot of opinions, recommendations, rants and ravings detailing the interesting flurries which are today, but has expanded into gigs, exhibitions and filmmaking, celebrating and showcasing our favourite acts in Manchester.
