IN 2010 SAUL Q AND DON’T GO JASON WATERFALLS AKA JASON WATERFALLS AKA “RICK” AKA JAY DREAD AKA JAY WANTED TO THROW A PARTY STRICTLY DEDICATED TO THEIR LOVE AND APPRECIATION FOR 90S MUSIC. THEY CALLED IT “HICKIES & DRY HUMPS.” YES, HICKIES AND DRY HUMPS IS A 90S MUSIC THEMED RESIDENCY THAT BEGAN RIGHT HERE IN OUR BACKYARD OF EAST VILLAGE IN DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO. H&DH IS A NIGHT THAT PRAISES GREAT THROWBACK MUSIC, TONGUE & CHEEK HUMOR, & POSITIVE ENERGY.Throughout the years, H&DH has had the privilege of teaming up with great parties, such as 143 (LA) and Booty Bassment, that all share a common love for nostalgic music and an understanding of the spirit of friendship. H&DH has since grown from San Diego’s first 90s only party to booking artists of an eclectic variety. We don’t want to be boxed off into one package. From bigger names to local heads, we are proud to showcase sound that we can honestly support. We want to use our stage to cultivate the San Diego music scene and present opportunities for the community to grow.But the ultimate end goal that we strive for here, night in & night out, is just to simply have fun, not have a care in the world, & throw your hands in the air if you’s a true player.
