Hope Metropolitan Concerts (HMC) was established in 2022 when Liverpool Hope University invited the former Metropolitan Cathedral Orchestra and Cantata Choir a new home, post-Covid. Members are keen amateur musicians who rehearse and perform at the Creative Campus on Shaw Street, using theatres in both the Cornerstone and Capstone Buildings and occasional concerts at other venues across the city. Students are given extensive musical opportunities to perform and attend concerts free throughout the academic year.We are always interested in welcoming new members from the University or general public.
