Indiana Petty & the Wildflowers

In 2002 I took my family to see Tom Petty and Heartbreakers and the show spoke to us so much that we came to experience him every year until his death in 2017. On July 21, 2005, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers were performing Refugee in Noblesville, IN. A storm had rolled in and the power went out when lightning struck the venue during the song but everyone kept singing along in the dark. When the power came back on the band continued to play the song without missing a beat.Since then I have dedicated so much of my time and free energy to celebrate his life, music and movement; and hopefully, someone out there hearing me will will be inspired to explore his catalog and let him into your hearts.
