International Vedanta SocietyIVS has been, for the last thirty five years, disseminating to the public the message of Truth, Love, Peace, Bliss and Oneness, in a way that is both devotional and practical, art and science. The motto of IVS is "Salvation of the Self and Well-being of the Universe" - teaching people the way to realize their True Self and then help the world.The founder and core of IVS was Sri Bhagavan, a powerhouse of enlightenment. Bhagavan resided in Kolkata, India until his mahasamadhi in 2023. He left behind a team of enlightened saints, practicing aspirants and well-wishers who are working to bring the teachings of Vedanta door to door to the people (which was His mission).
