Irish Music Niagara

Irish Music Niagara is a non-profit organisation based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Our objective is to share happiness through music. We host weekly FOLK and IRISH music sessions at DOC MAGILLIGAN'S Irish Pub, where everyone is welcome to join in or just listen. Entry is free and all are welcome no matter what your background or interests. We love Irish music - Thus, we try to learn and pass on our old tunes, some of which are hundreds of years old. But we also encourage FOLK music (FOLK comes from "of the people" after all!) so there's lots of love at our table for Sophia (aged 13) who enjoys singing Country Roads and Joe (aged 82) when he requests some old folk songs and plays along on his harmonica.This year will be the innaugural Irish Festival in Niagara! It is the culmination of our efforts as a group and is shared with our community and visitors to our lovely city.We are very thankful to our sponsors (City of Niagara Falls, Doc Magilligans) and some private donors who have made this festival possible.
