ITPA (Independent Telecommunications Pioneer Association) is the volunteer organization created by and for the independent telecommunications industry. Dedicated to community service, the ITPA has been serving the public on behalf of telecommunications companies since 1920. ITPA represents more than 9,000 telecommunications employees, retirees, and industry affiliates nationwide. In addition to organizing and supporting local chapters throughout the country, the ITPA maintains two Foundations:ITPA Charitable Foundation: coordinates and sponsors the collection and distribution of funds donated by local chapters to charitable causes.ITPA Historical Foundation: dedicated to preserving the history of the telecommunications industry, including support for the ITPA Hall of Fame museum in Hinesville, GA.
