Meet Jamie Zeller, a proud WV Class of 1997 alumna, who has been sharing her passion for math with WV students since 2002. As a mother of three, Jamie brings a personal touch to her teaching style, transitioning from traditional math to exclusively teaching financial algebra, emphasizing real-world applications.Currently, as the Financial Algebra Teacher Trainer for WAMC and a past FEPPP Fellow, Jamie thrives on her deep commitment to seeing her students succeed. Embracing innovative teaching methods is not just a professional obligation for her; it's a personal quest to keep each day interesting and full of new learning experiences. This commitment is Jamie's way of ensuring that the classroom is always an engaging space where both she and her students can explore and grow together. Beyond the classroom, Jamie is not just a math teacher; she's also the softball coach at the high school, fostering teamwork and leadership.When she's not nerding out in the world of equations and coaching, you'll find Jamie unwinding with a good book or enjoying the serenity of the beach. She loves watching her children compete in their various sports and can typically be found at a Seattle Mariners baseball game whenever possible. With a passion for both teaching and coaching, Jamie adds a unique and authentic touch to the WV community.
