Jay Miller

Jay Milleris the Pastor of Vail Valley Baptist Church. Jay moved to Tucson in 2001 after leaving the Army. He earned a B.S. in Molecular Biology in 2010 and an M.A. in Theological Studies in 2012. Jay and his wife, Angel, were married in 2004 and have two children: David and Samara.Jay came to Vail Valley in May of 2021 after serving 18 years in mental health nursing and healthcare IT. He started in ministry for 10 years as a volunteer prison pastor with Prison Fellowship Ministries. He is passionate about Puritan prayers, expositional verse-by-verse preaching, and reformation theology.You can find Jay on Spartan runs, F3, or the Do Jang working on his next Taekwondo black belt in his free time. He loves to read and is a devoted U of A Hockey fan.
