Jayda Irene

Jayda Irene is a versatile artist with a passion for dance and production. She personifies the modern artist who is educated and trained in the urban art of dance. Her expertise lies in urban dance, and she is committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in the arts industry. Through her work, she aims to inspire Black children and adults to pursue their dreams of becoming professional artists. Jayda has been recognized for her talent and dedication, having been selected as a Seeding Creativity Artist funded by the City of Sacramento and NEA to further artistic careers. She is currently directing Healing Heeled, a local nonprofit that will produce its first live show in August 2023. Jayda is represented by RAE Agency in San Francisco and commercially published. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology and Dance from Sacramento State.
