JAZZ ON THE TRINITY

Simmie Westbrook is the owner and founder of Poetic Visions, a creative arts company with a focus on poetic expression and live music promotion. Born and raised in Dallas, TX, she is an Air Force veteran and published author. Her love for music and poetry prompted her to promote and produce her first concert, The Love Jones Experience in 2015, featuring Grammy Award winner Lalah Hathaway and Music Soulchild. The event sold out and was a huge success compelling her to promote a second show at the Fair Park Music Hall followed by the inaugural one day Jazz on the Trinity (JOT) Music Festival. JOT was an outdoor music festival that took place at Panther Island Pavilion in Ft. Worth, TX. The event garnered approximately 3500 concert goers and was widely acclaimed by artists and attenders. Our goal is to grow JOT into a three day festival that brings concert goers from across the nation.
