Jess's yoga and meditation journey began in 2012 during a challenging period in her life. Seeking a natural way to relax and reduce stress, she pursued Yoga Teacher Training and became a certified yoga teacher (200 RYT) in May 2013. The transformative effects of yoga on her body, mind, and soul inspired her to share its numerous benefits with others.Initially, Jess taught an Introduction to Ashtanga-Primary Series at a yoga studio before establishing her own studio in Derry, New Hampshire. Her focus shifted to teaching Hatha and Vinyasa style classes, and she expanded her reach by leading retreats, hosting private events, and teaching internationally. Her yoga practice incorporates elements of Hatha, Ashtanga, and Kundalini, and she enjoys curating vinyasa flow sequences accompanied by uplifting music to enhance the class experience.During her journey, Jess discovered sound healing and had a profound spiritual experience during her first sound bath. This experience altered the course of her life and solidified her belief in the significance of sound healing. Combining this holistic practice with yoga, guided meditation, and breathwork (pranayama), she finds joy in using sound to facilitate healing in others.Jess firmly believes that sound healing holds the potential to shape the future of medicine. She perceives a global need for healing, emphasizing that when we heal ourselves, we contribute to healing the world as a whole, as we are all interconnected.Jess offers community sunset sound bath sessions every Monday at Honeymoon Island North Beach and every Tuesday on Indian Rocks Beach (16th Avenue beach access), and offers private one-on-one vibrational sound therapy sessions at your location, group sound meditation sessions; for birthday parties, bridal showers, corporate events, family reunions and more. She also hosts floating sound bath pool events.
