Jo Thorpe

I am a professional mosaic artist, restorer, and teacher based in Walthamstow, London. My work is featured in several chapels at Westminster Cathedral and includes private commissions for clients such as DJ and festival organiser Rob da Bank, Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Mel B, and large mosaic panels for Aston Villa Football Club.I’ve also worked on restoration projects for prestigious institutions, including the National Portrait Gallery, the V&A, and the War Office. With over 30 years of experience, I spent a decade at Mosaic Workshop, creating mosaics alongside Emma Biggs and Tessa Hunkin.
