Hi! I'm Jodi Whalen, a Vermont artist and forager.I love to bring my passion for the natural beauty of Vermont into the art I create. I split my time between Burlington, where I live close to Lake Champlain and our camp at the base of Stark Mountain, near Bristol. At both places I love to see what the earth offers in the form of food, medicine, and art supplies! All of my gathering is done with gratitude and with sustainability in mind.I find joy in helping people realize that they're inherently creative, and that the act of making art is just as, if not more important than the finished product! Sitting in a group and crafting is an ageless practice that is relaxing, fun, and rewarding for the spirit.I hope you'll join me for an upcoming workshop!
