My name is Jono, and I'm Mr Lichfield! I'm an independent tour guide, local historian, author of the book The A-Z of Lichfield, and a history feature writer for Citylife in Lichfield magazine. I live, sleep, eat, drink, walk and talk about Lichfield every single day, and I love my job, telling everyone about the 1,300 year history of the lovely cathedral city of Lichfield. My tours and talks are extensively researched, I rarely use, or need, notes and I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of Lichfield and the surrounding area.
