The event is being run by Julie Meikle and Mel Reeves. Julie and Mel have been working together for many years, and writing songs together for 6 or so years. Our first album was released 2024, and have a new album in the works. Mel is an ourstanding guitarist in many genres, and he uses those skills alongside his huge breadth of knowledge of music theory to write interesting chord sequences and melody lines. Mel has taught guitar, bass, piano and theory for many years. Julie is a wordsmith and melody writer. She enjoys writing songs that explore outside of traditional chord sequences. Julie has also taught music for many years. Including community choirs, young musicians and street bands.
