Following what I felt was a prophetic word from God at Christmas 2015 about His desire to reach the lost through us, in the first week of the New Year 2016 The Lord spoke to my heart I believe to begin a specific work in response.It was to be a ministry of worship which centers on Gospel concerts held at least four times a year.Not just a song or music ministry but a specific ministry for true worship!Our Lord I feel said concentrate on understanding and getting into true worship such as God seeks and see what I can do.The planning behind these concerts will come from and be based on revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit our teacher and guide into true Worship. Revelations received during private and small group worship are documented against scripture references expanded into a study then put into practice publicly.The concerts would ultimately be an evangelistic seed through which our Lord could draw the lost to Himself rather than simply music to entertain the church. Saint and sinner alike are to be wooed by His Spirit!It is no coincidence Satan was effectively the worship leader in heaven before he fell. Therefore true to his character he wants to keep us in the dark especially about the place of worship in our lives and deceived in the way we go about it. Satan hasn't changed in his deluded desire to divert worship away from God to himself. God however as we read in John chapter 4 v23 now more than ever seeks true worshippers and true worship so wants to pour out a fresh understanding of how to go about worship .True Worship because of the way it brings us into contact spiritually with God has special often untapped potential for touching the hearts of the lost, 'burning away' from sin and of particular interest amongst other things, psychological healing from mental ill-health as our study seeks to show.An understanding of worship as a concept is being  poured out by the Holy Spirit, the one who truly makes God known. The Holy Spirit is the great revealer of God, who He is and what He is like. He knows the type of worship that touches God.So how to approach God in worship is being made open by the Holy Spirit and we have tried in part to document a mere reflection of this new understanding in a corresponding study. It is by no means a guaranteed 'formula' for musical intimacy with God . Worship starts with where we are in our hearts towards and with Him so cannot be manufactured by formulas if it is to be ' in truth'. However, there are things to be mindful of when we seek to worship Him in spirit and in truth to show we care about how acceptable our worship becomes to Him. Details from the full study will be made available from the ministry website which will be live from the 31st of Jan 2018 and details also of how to obtain the full publication.Just as there is a way to pray as shown by Jesus when one of the disciples asked Him if He would show them ( Luke 11v1), there is a way to worship. Jesus gave us that 'Lord's Prayer' as a pattern and template for how to approach God in prayer. We see from Matt 6v 17 that Jesus even goes further to give pointers also for how to fast. So there is a way in all things as pertaining to how we go about our relationship with God, including worship. If we were to hold court with earthly royalty, Kings or Queens we would be given a protocol to follow in our approach.How much more for our heavenly Father and His King of Kings!Worship therefore must be given a platform and place to be expressed and made manifest as it is in Heaven, here on earth at times. This is the vision.(Habakkuk 2v 2-3) ‘And the Lord answered me and said, “write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time but at the end it shall speak and not lie. Though it tarry wait for it because it will surely come..”So thanking God for your love and interest towards Him, His Son Jesus Christ and His precious Holy Spirit. We are praying in return as you journey in this vision the spirit of worship will pervade your soul and create new spiritual 'chords' that continually bind you to Him.Jesus was God's way of expressing His Love towards us, so our worship of the Christ is how we express our love in return toward Him.Father please touch us all by your Spirit in our understanding of how we give musical expression of our love and worship towards you.Praying the Love of God upon us all.Regards in Christ,Victor Adu.
