Kanso (The Rope Circle)

Kanso is a Bay Area-based Kinbaku artist, performer, and kink/sex-positive educator, with training in martial arts, dance, and movement education. He was first introduced to the seductive world of Japanese rope bondage in 2006, while attending a stage performance in Japan. He has taught and performed at numerous music festivals, art venues, and kink events across the U.S. He offers private rope sessions, private rope lessons, and group classes in the Bay Area.In 2017 Kanso started the Rope Circle, with the aim to make shibari education more accessible and to raise awareness around sensation play (kink) and sexuality.
