Kids Explore Roboticswas founded by Mr. Vinod Agrawal (dad, an experienced engineer) and Mr. Aarav Agrawal (son, an engineering student at Purdue). We offersingle 1-hr class,3-month courses(once a week for 1-hr for a total of 12 weeks), as well asSummer Robotics and Coding Camps. Our goal is to spread interest in robotics to young minds. We have created our own robots from custom-crafted wooden and 3D printed parts. They are designed to inspire creativity in kids. Our robots aresimple in design but provide a powerful learning experiencethat is fun, engaging, rewarding and educational. We have over 50 activities and projects that provide hands-on learning to ensure kids understand behind-the-scenes of robotics while having a BLAST!Our teaching method breaks down the learning in small chunks and makes it really easy for any kids to understand, comprehend, and learn. Kids work on individual activities as well as group projects that improve critical thinking, teamwork, and social skills under the guidance of our trained experts.About the founders:Mr. Vinod Agrawal:I am an experienced engineer with a master's degree in electrical engineering. I have over 25 years of professional experience in various industries including manufacturing, finance, insurance, and education. I have a passion for quality education for all kids. I am also a former math tutor where I taught math to students from all walks of life. I created A+ TutorSoft, commonly known as A+ Interactive Math - an online math learning curriculum. I am continuing to innovate the ways I can provide essential skills to new generation of kids.Kids Explore Roboticsis the result of our passion (me and my son) to spread interest in robotics to young minds.Mr. Aarav Agrawal (son, an engineering student):I was first exposed to robotics in elementary school as I was a member of our robotics team. Although robotics captured my attention, I didn’t continue to pursue it after our family moved and I changed schools. Luckily for me, high school provided me with the opportunities to rediscover my former interest. I took engineering and computer science courses and realized again how much I appreciated robotics. I wanted to spread interest in robotics to young minds for many reasons aside from it becoming a necessity as the world around us continues to evolve with use of robots all around us.I have held many in-person classes and camps. I have also created a series of video lessons on YouTube that teach kids the entire process of building and programming the robot for those that can’t attend the in-person classes. Here is a little more about me:* An engineering student with a stellar academic record. Salutatorian - Class of 2024 at Center Grove High School. L* Selected as a candidate in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program - one of 5,000 selected candidates out of 3.6 million students.* Recognized as a Bright Ideas student at the Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame Gala.* Invited to JA JobSpark & CareerIgnite events to discuss robotics with kids.* Featured in Southside Times, Johnson County Icon, and Daily Journal.* Supported by an experienced engineer dad.
