King County Nurses Association (KCNA) is a professional organization of registered nurses in King County, Washington, providing multiple opportunities for member involvement, including continuing education programs, committees and special interest groups, nurse recognition, nursing student scholarships, and community service projects. KCNA is a region (region 2) of Washington State Nurses Association. To join KCNA, nurses first join the Washington State Nurses Association then are automatically members of KCNA and the American Nurses Association.KCNA hosts a variety of events for registered nurses. The KCNA Program Committee, made up of KCNA members, sets the tone, themes and topics of our events. While we focus on the needs of our members, we often extend our events to nonmembers and nursing students.
