Since 2009, he has reshaped the city’s artistic and social landscape, creating upscale experiences that uplift, inspire, and celebrate Black excellence.Dubbed the Architect of Black Cool, Kwabena has curated legendary events that have become staples in Milwaukee’s cultural scene. From the electrifying 40/40 Party 2009 to the elegant All White Affair at The Lake 2010, his gatherings set the standard for immersive and unforgettable experiences. For two decades, Poetry Unplugged has been a haven for authentic expression, fostering a platform where voices are heard and legacies are built. His more recent events, We Do It For The Culture and Soul Unplugged On The Porch, continue to celebrate the richness of Black artistry and community.More than an organizer, Kwabena is a movement builder—a force driving change, curating spaces, and redefining narratives. His work isn’t just about events; it’s about legacy, impact, and transformation.
