Lion's Roar Dharma Center

Lion's Roar Dharma Center is a Vajrayana Buddhist community and international arts center in Sacramento, California in the tradition of the XIV Dalai Lama. Our community was founded by Geshe Lobsang Gyatso and is directed by Lama Yeshe Jinpa. We provide a wide variety of programs, meditation instruction and Buddhist teachings that are especially designed for people with daily work, school or family commitments. Our programs are designed to include all levels of practitioners.We are committed to a vision that recognizes the interdependence of all beings, where through the practice of compassion, skillful means and Bodhisattva activities we can liberate and awaken ourselves and all other sentient beings, coming to Shambhala together.
