For over 20 years, Liz Underwood has empowered people to heal themselves through movement. With a foundation in Yoga and Yoga Therapy, she went on to discover the profound effects of Somatics and has specialized in teaching this transformative method for the last 9 years. As a certified Clinical Somatic Educator, Liz offers online classes, in-depth courses, and in-person workshops and retreats.Her work is deeply rooted in the belief that the body holds innate wisdom and the capacity to heal when given the right tools and space. Liz integrates chakra dancing, somatic movement, and guided relaxation into her offerings—modalities that awaken the body’s energy, release deep-seated tension, and invite a return to presence and inner balance.Through chakra dancing, she invites participants to move intuitively through the energy centres, expressing and aligning from the inside out. Her somatic approach encourages mindful awareness and nervous system regulation, while guided relaxation supports deep rest, restoration, and reconnection to self.Whether online or in person, Liz creates a compassionate and grounded space where others can safely explore embodied healing and experience the joy of moving from within.
