I am blessed beyond measure! My husband, Lee, and I are the parents of 11 children, 12 grandchildren, and counting. One of our sons was diagnosed with schizoaffective bipolar disorder. During an episode, he robbed 5 places in 2 days. It was his first offense, and at the age of 21, he was sentenced to 18 years in Federal Prison. He is the father of an amazing daughter who misses him dearly. Because of her journey and what God has laid on my heart, I have started Castle Overcomers. When young children of incarcerated parents see the institution, they often think it looks like a CASTLE. Thus, as we pour into their lives, they will know they can OVERCOME the obstacles they face during this time."Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." 1 John 4:4
