Named after the infamous Mahjong King of NYC's Chinatown, Shannon Lai's great uncle Lee Kok Choy.Mahjong is a core expression of sacred togetherness. It connects us all to each other and the spirits and ancestors that watch over us.Mahjong King is an event series that centers mahjong play, food and music in collaboration with friends, family and community across NYC and beyond.
